Chiropractors are considered primary health care providers, therefore
a medical referral is not required.  Most extended health care benefits
  plans cover their services.

Although known for their expertise in back and neck pain, Chiropractors
can diagnose and treat most musculoskeletal conditions.  If not, they will refer
you to the appropriate health care professional.

Chiropractic is extremely beneficial for pregnant women.  It is a safe and effective
way to decrease aches and pains stemming from the biomechanical changes
  that take place.

Spinal check-ups for children should be done routinely.  Chiropractors
can recognize and successfully treat conditions that may otherwise cause
problems later in life. Children also respond very well to Chiropractic
  in case of an injury.

Chiropractors are one of only five groups of health care practitioners allowed
to use the title of Doctor, with its associated duties and responsibilities.

Doctors of Chiropractic go through an extensive education process.
Their degree is obtained after a minimum of 3 years in an undergraduate
program, followed by 4 years in an accredited Chiropractic College.
